Copy of Chilly Weather Chili

Hasn't this weather been incredible? I'm jumping the gun here and sharing a delicious and simple chili recipe. When fall rolls around I always have items for chili in my pantry just in case and it makes enough for plenty of leftovers which is always a plus.

 

Grocery List:
-2 cans of 28 oz diced tomatoes
-2 lbs ground beef
-1 can pinto beans
-1 can kidney beans
-Onion
-Bell Pepper
-3 tbsp Chili Powder
-2 tsp Garlic Powder
-2 tsp Cumin
-1 tsp Sugar
-1 tsp Salt
-1 tsp Pepper
-Red Pepper to taste
-1/2 tsp Oregano
-2 cups Water

Instructions:
-Sautee onion and bell pepper
-Brown the beef, drain the fat (or don't)
-Add the rest of the ingredients
-Let simmer for two hours (this is the hardest part)

Serve with rice and saltine crackers - then top it with cheese and sour cream. Avocado is also good on top of it.
